Oscar Plant Hire & Sales Limited is a family run business. The company was formed in 1976 by Steve & Glen Jefferys in Maidstone, Kent. They noticed that there was a gap in the market for Loading Shovel dealers. Oscar Plant was then well known as The Loading Shovel Shop

Biography of Steve Jefferys

1965 - Steve started work as an apprentice at Lumley Savilles, IH Dealers.
1970 - He moved to H Levertons were he joined their Sales Team.
1976 - Oscar Plant Hire & Sales Ltd was formed.
